Dr. Simge Esin Orhun is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Design, Istanbul Ozyegin University. She obtained her Bachelor degree in Architecture from Gazi University, Department of Architecture in 1995, M.A. in Architecture from Istanbul Technical University in 1999 and PhD in the area of Computer Aided Architectural Design from Yildiz Technical University in 2007. She has been teaching in the Departments of Communication Design since 2003 in different universities. She has taken responsibility in planning, organization and configuration of national and international workshops, of which works for each were exhibited in public spaces. Her main areas of teaching are spatial communication design, interactive storytelling, scenography, exhibition design and design-driven innovation. Her research interests focus on interactive applications in physical space, interactive media design education, IT embedded spatial organizations of buildings and public spaces, game design and innovation.
